In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).
The theme for TEDxUTA 2020 is "Chain Reaction", focusing on the idea that one seemingly small or simple action can create a world of change. Be it large or small, every action has a distinct impact and with a world that consists of a wide range of ideas, critical ways of thinking, and multiple pathways in which we navigate society, each impact creates endless possibilities.
TEDxUTA 2020 will be an in-person event and EXCEL Campus Activities will be following university event guidelines, including social distancing, wearing of masks, and disinfecting the theatre.

UTA Student: $20
UTA Faculty/Staff: $25
